Ingredients
5 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 medium russet potatos, sliced and quartered 1/4 inch
2 cups chopped kale
1 pound spicy Italian sausage, links
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Directions
- Combine the stock and cream in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the potato and the kale.
- Grill the Italian sausage until cooked through. Cool and slice about 1/2 inch thick. Add to the soup.
- Add the salt and red pepper flakes and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
