Ingredients
1 cup water
1, 1/3 cups sugar
6 cups thinly sliced rhubarb
30 fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
3 apples, cored and diced
1 pint blueberries
2 oranges, sectioned
2 peaches, pitted and sliced
30 seedless grapes, halved
3 plums, pitted and sliced
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil. Stir in the rhubarb, cover and turn the heat to low. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the rhubarb is soft. Mash and chill in the refrigerator for about and hour.
- In a large bowl, mix together the strawberries, apples, blueberries, orange, peaches, grapes and plums. Add in 1 cup of the rhubarb sauce and stir gently to coat. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
