Ingredients

2/3 cup sour cream

¼ teaspoon ground cumin

¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

¼ teaspoon paprika

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 (16 ounce) can refried beans

3/4 cup guacamole

¼ cup sliced black olives

2 green onions, chopped

1 medium tomato, chopped

1 ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

  1. Combine the sour cream, cumin, cayenne, paprika and salt in a small bowl and mix well. Set aside.
  2. Heat the refried beans in a microwave until hot.
  3. When the beans are hot, spread them over the center of a serving platter or in a shallow dish.
  4. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the beans.
  5. Spread the guacamole over the top of the beans.
  6. Sprinkle the sliced olives over the beans.
  7. Spread the sour cream mixture over the olives.
  8. Sprinkle the green onions and the tomatoes over the sour cream mixture.
  9. Finish by spreading the remaining cheese, and topping with cilantro.  Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
