Ingredients
1 (26 ounce) bag frozen hash browns, optional: with peppers and onions
2 cups shredded Colby cheese
¼ cup minced onion
1 cup milk
½ cup beef broth
2 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425 Degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, cheese, and onion.
- In a medium bowl, combine the milk, beef broth, half of the melted butter, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix to blend the pour over the hash brown mixture.
- Coat a 9x13 glass baking dish with cooking spray. Pour the hash brown mixture into the prepared dish.
- Bake in the oven for 45 to 60 minutes or until the top of the hash browns are bubbly and brown.
