Ingredients

1 cup butter

2 cups brown sugar

½ cup light corn syrup

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

6 quarts popcorn

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with foil and coat with non-stick cooking spray. Place popcorn in a large bowl
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Stir in the brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda and vanilla. Drizzle over the popcorn, stirring to coat.
  3. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces
